Our Founder
Elisse
Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Movement, Post Graduate Diploma in Exercise for Rehabilitation, Advanced Diploma Myotherapy, Certificate IV in Fitness, Certificate I in Pilates. Member of Myotherapy Association Australia (MA), Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA) and Physical Activity Australia (PAA).
Elisse spent most of her early years joining in many sports and activities.
Athletics, basketball, hockey, tennis & Karate were just a few of the training spaces which helped her understand the powerful benefits of a caring, knowledgeable, and skilful coach or mentor.
This led her to complete 6 years of study including a Post Graduate Diploma in Exercise for Rehabilitation and an Advanced Diploma in Myotherapy.
After 8 years of working as a sole trader, Elisse stepped out to open Gators in the hope of creating a space where a team of caring health professionals could join together and share their passion for helping people in the community.
Juggling the challenges of being a proud single mum, while continuing to keep the Gators community supported and growing at times was difficult. These challenges built the resilience, and it has also helped the Gators community develop into the amazing team it is today.
Elisse loves being outside, trail running, bike riding, and sharing fun challenges with friends and family. Learning to overcome her own fears in fitness and enjoying new experiences.
This helps her to provide a welcoming, inclusive environment, while inspiring clients towards long term improvements in fitness, health, and lifestyle.
